1. De persoonsgegevens waar wij toegang tot hebben, zullen slechts in opdracht van de klant worden verwerkt, behoudens afwijkende wettelijke verplichtingen.
2. We zullen persoonsgegevens waar we toegang tot hebben, nooit gebruiken voor enig ander doel dan datgene waarvoor we opdracht hebben.
3. Wanneer we een opdracht krijgen van een klant, die te maken heeft met persoonsgegevens, verifiëren we altijd of de opdracht daadwerkelijk komt van iemand die bevoegd is om die opdracht te verstrekken.
4. Als voor een opdracht persoonsgegevens irrelevant zijn, vragen we de klant om toegankelijke databases, logbestanden e.d. te anonimiseren alvorens toegang te verlenen.
5. Bij opdrachten die in strijd met de wet zijn of lijken, in het bijzonder de privacywetgeving, treden we altijd in overleg met de directie van Marvel. Basishouding hierbij moet zijn “we helpen nooit iemand mee om de wet te overtreden”.
6. Het is uitdrukkelijk verboden om :
   1. persoonsgegevens van de klant of van Marvel zelf, privé te gebruiken.
   2. persoonsgegevens van de klant of van Marvel zelf, te verkopen, ongeacht waar de opbrengsten van deze verkoop naartoe gaan.
   3. persoonsgegevens van verschillende klanten aan elkaar te koppelen, op welke manier dan ook.
7. In de ontwerpen van software hanteren we “privacy by design”. Oftewel: de functionaliteit respecteert de privacy van de bezoeker, by default.
8. In onze adviezen betrekken we het onderwerp “privacy van de bezoeker en gebruiker” altijd.
9. Als we signaleren dat de bescherming van persoonsgegevens in het geding is, informeren we de Data Protection Officer van de klant altijd. Als het een datalek betreft zoals bedoeld in artikel 33 van de wet zorgen we ervoor dat de klant zijn wettelijke verplichting om het binnen 72 uur bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens te melden, kan nakomen.
10. We zullen buiten de werksfeer nooit uit de school klappen over klantgegevens, andere informatie van klanten en personeelsgegevens van Marvel.
11. We beschermen onze werkplek, onze laptop, onze telefoon en andere hulpmiddelen zodanig dat ze niet kunnen worden gebruikt om de privacy van ons, onze collega’s en onze klanten te schenden.

The personal data to which we have access shall be processed solely on the instructions of the customer, unless statutory obligations require otherwise.

We will never use personal data to which we have access for any purpose other than the purpose for which we have been instructed.

When we receive an assignment from a customer that involves personal data, we always verify that the instruction is issued by a person who is authorized to provide such instruction.

If personal data are irrelevant to the execution of an assignment, we request the customer to anonymize accessible databases, log files, and similar data before granting access.

In the event of assignments that are or appear to be in conflict with the law, in particular privacy legislation, we always consult with the management of Marvel. Our fundamental principle in this respect is: “we never assist anyone in violating the law.”

It is expressly prohibited to:

• use personal data of customers or of Marvel itself for private purposes;
• sell personal data of customers or of Marvel itself, regardless of where the proceeds of such sale may go;
• link or combine personal data of different customers in any manner whatsoever.

In the design of software, we apply the principle of “privacy by design.” In other words, the functionality respects the privacy of visitors by default.

In our advice, we always take into account the privacy of visitors and users.

If we identify that the protection of personal data is at risk, we always inform the customer’s Data Protection Officer. If the matter concerns a personal data breach as referred to in Article 33 of applicable legislation, we ensure that the customer is able to comply with its legal obligation to report the breach to the supervisory authority within 72 hours.

Outside the working environment, we will never disclose customer data, other customer-related information, or personnel data of Marvel.

We protect our workplace, our laptops, our phones, and other tools in such a way that they cannot be used to infringe the privacy of ourselves, our colleagues, or our customers.
