Artikel 1 Definities
In deze Algemene Voorwaarden Tickets (hierna: AVT) wordt verstaan onder:
Bezoeker
De consument of het bedrijf dat zich registreert voor deelname aan een evenement.
Deelnamekosten
De prijs van deelname, inclusief eventuele aanvullende kosten of bijkomende diensten, zoals – maar niet uitsluitend – no-show fees.
Evenement
De (digitale) bijeenkomst, waaronder mede begrepen maar niet beperkt tot beurzen, congressen en seminars, waarvoor registratie heeft plaatsgevonden.
Locatie
De plaats waar het evenement wordt gehouden.
No-Show fee
De vergoeding die in rekening wordt gebracht aan bezoekers die zich registreren voor een evenement maar zonder tijdige afmelding niet deelnemen.
Organisator
De partij die het evenement organiseert en met wie bij registratie de overeenkomst tot stand komt.
Overeenkomst
De overeenkomst die tot stand komt tussen de Organisator en de Bezoeker.
Registratie
Het tot stand brengen van een overeenkomst waarbij de Bezoeker op de in deze AVT beschreven wijze een overeenkomst aangaat met de Organisator.
Ticket
Het toegangsbewijs of de inlogcode voor een evenement.
Artikel 2 Algemeen
- Deze AVT zijn van toepassing op alle diensten en aanbiedingen die door tussenkomst van Marvel, the Databadge Company worden verricht, alsmede op iedere registratie via de websites van evenementen en via aanmelding via socialmediakanalen. Afwijkingen van deze AVT zijn uitsluitend geldig indien deze schriftelijk zijn overeengekomen.
- Op de Overeenkomst kunnen tevens de algemene voorwaarden van de Organisator van toepassing zijn. Deze zijn in het betreffende geval te raadplegen via de website van de Organisator.
III. De Locatie waar het evenement wordt gehouden kan huisregels en/of gedragsregels hanteren. Door registratie verklaart de Bezoeker zich vooraf akkoord met deze regels.
Artikel 3 Totstandkoming van de Overeenkomst
- Marvel, the Databadge Company treedt bij de registratie van evenementen op als gemachtigde van de Organisator ten behoeve van de totstandkoming van de Overeenkomst tussen Bezoeker en Organisator. Marvel, the Databadge Company is geen partij bij deze Overeenkomst.
- De Overeenkomst komt tot stand op het moment dat de Bezoeker de registratie via Marvel, the Databadge Company heeft voltooid. Marvel, the Databadge Company verstrekt namens de Organisator de toegangsbewijzen voor het evenement.
III. Een registratie is voor de Bezoeker onherroepelijk. Wijzigingen in een tot stand gekomen Overeenkomst zijn voor de Bezoeker niet mogelijk.
- Indien de Bezoeker zijn verplichtingen uit hoofde van de Overeenkomst niet nakomt, is Marvel, the Databadge Company gerechtigd om namens de Organisator de Overeenkomst te ontbinden, schadevergoeding te vorderen en/of nakoming te eisen.
Artikel 4 Tickets
- Tickets kunnen worden geboekt via de website van Marvel, the Databadge Company of via socialmediakanalen.
- De door Marvel, the Databadge Company verstrekte Tickets blijven eigendom van de Organisator en worden aan de Bezoeker ter beschikking gesteld.
III. Het is zonder voorafgaande schriftelijke toestemming van de Organisator en/of Marvel, the Databadge Company niet toegestaan:
- Tickets aan derden te verkopen of deze op andere commerciële wijze ter beschikking te stellen;
- Tickets in commerciële uitingen aan te bieden of anderszins naar de Tickets te verwijzen.
- Indien de Bezoeker handelt in strijd met deze AVT of de voorwaarden van de Organisator, kunnen Marvel, the Databadge Company en/of de Organisator de Tickets ongeldig verklaren. In dat geval kan deelname aan het evenement worden geweigerd zonder recht op enige schadevergoeding.
- Marvel, the Databadge Company en/of de Organisator behouden zich het recht voor een maximum te stellen aan het aantal te boeken Tickets. Boekingen die dit maximum overschrijden kunnen zonder voorafgaande kennisgeving worden aangepast of geannuleerd.
- Ticketprijzen kunnen hoger zijn dan de op de Tickets vermelde prijzen in verband met bijkomende kosten, zoals reserverings-, betalings- en/of bezorgkosten. De geldende btw-tarieven zijn van toepassing.
VII. Boekingskosten kunnen variëren afhankelijk van het moment en de wijze van aankoop. Alle kosten worden tijdens de registratie duidelijk vermeld. Er worden geen andere kosten in rekening gebracht dan de getoonde kosten.
Artikel 5 Fulfilment
- Marvel, the Databadge Company streeft ernaar de Tickets digitaal aan de Bezoeker te verstrekken vóór aanvang van het evenement, doch uiterlijk drie (3) dagen voorafgaand aan het evenement, mits de volledige ticketprijs is voldaan. Indien de Tickets niet tijdig zijn ontvangen, dient de Bezoeker per e-mail contact op te nemen.
- Na ontvangst dient de Bezoeker de Tickets te controleren op juistheid. Indien sprake is van onjuiste Tickets, worden op eerste schriftelijk verzoek en zonder bijkomende kosten vervangende Tickets verstrekt, mits het verzoek de relevante gegevens en redenen bevat. Indien Marvel, the Databadge Company niet uiterlijk zeven (7) dagen vóór aanvang van het evenement schriftelijk is geïnformeerd, kan zij besluiten de Tickets niet te vervangen.
III. Marvel, the Databadge Company behoudt zich het recht voor om boekingen te weigeren of aanvullende voorwaarden te stellen.
Artikel 6 Aansprakelijkheid
- Marvel, the Databadge Company is niet de Organisator van het evenement en aanvaardt geen enkele aansprakelijkheid voor de inhoud, kwaliteit of organisatie van het evenement, noch voor de gang van zaken in of rond de Locatie of het digitale platform.
- Indien het evenement wordt geannuleerd door de Organisator of de locatiehouder, zal Marvel, the Databadge Company niet zelfstandig overgaan tot terugbetaling van Deelnamekosten. Indien de Organisator Marvel, the Databadge Company verzoekt tot restitutie over te gaan, handelt Marvel, the Databadge Company uitsluitend als bemiddelaar namens de Organisator.
III. Marvel, the Databadge Company is nimmer aansprakelijk voor schade van de Bezoeker als gevolg van overlijden, letsel, ongevallen, verlies, beschadiging of diefstal, voorafgaand aan, tijdens of als gevolg van deelname aan het evenement.
- In geval van overmacht is Marvel, the Databadge Company niet gehouden tot enige schadevergoeding.
- Marvel, the Databadge Company aanvaardt geen aansprakelijkheid voor verlies of beschadiging van Tickets door de Bezoeker. Indien vervangende Tickets worden aangevraagd, is Marvel, the Databadge Company gerechtigd hiervoor kosten in rekening te brengen.
- Voor zover aansprakelijkheid van Marvel, the Databadge Company is uitgesloten of beperkt, geldt dit eveneens voor haar medewerkers en hulppersonen.
Artikel 7 Annuleringsvoorwaarden
- Voor de verkoop van toegangstickets voor congressen en evenementen die plaatsvinden in opdracht van derden, gelden de annulerings- en restitutievoorwaarden van de betreffende Organisator. De Bezoeker heeft geen recht op terugbetaling, tenzij dit expliciet is opgenomen in de van toepassing zijnde voorwaarden van de derde partij.
7.1 Wanneer kan Marvel overgaan tot terugbetaling?
Marvel gaat uitsluitend over tot terugbetaling indien de Organisator daartoe opdracht geeft. Marvel handelt hierbij altijd in overleg en op aanwijzing van de Organisator.
7.2 Welk bedrag ontvangt de Bezoeker bij een terugbetaling?
Bij een terugbetaling ontvangt de Bezoeker de betaalde ticketprijs, onder aftrek van servicekosten, boekingskosten en/of transactiekosten die bij aanschaf zijn voldaan, alsmede eventuele vergoedingen die tussen Marvel en de Organisator zijn overeengekomen.
7.3 Op welke wijze betaalt Marvel terug?
Een terugbetaling vindt altijd plaats via dezelfde betaalmethode als waarmee de oorspronkelijke aankoop is gedaan.

Article 1 Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:
General Ticket Terms and Conditions
These General Ticket Terms and Conditions, hereinafter referred to as the “GTC”.
Visitor
The consumer or business registering for participation in an event.
Participation Fee
The participation price, including any additional costs or ancillary services, such as but not limited to no-show fees.
Event
The occasion at which a (digital) gathering takes place, including but not limited to trade fairs, congresses, and seminars for which registration has taken place.
Location
The venue where the event is held.
No-Show Fee
The fee charged to visitors who register for an event but fail to attend without timely cancellation.
Organizer
The party organizing the event and with whom the agreement is concluded upon registration.
Agreement
The agreement concluded between the Organizer and the Visitor.
Registration
The conclusion of an agreement whereby the Visitor enters into an agreement with the Organizer of an event in the manner described in these GTC.
Ticket
The admission ticket or login code for an event.
Article 2 General
- These GTC apply to all services and offers provided by or through Marvel, the Databadge Company, to all registrations via event websites and registrations via social media channels. Deviations from these GTC are only valid if agreed upon in writing.
- The general terms and conditions of the Organizer may also apply to the Agreement and can be downloaded from the Organizer’s website where applicable.
III. The Location where the event is held may apply house rules and/or codes of conduct, which can be downloaded from its website. By registering, the Visitor declares acceptance of these rules in advance.
Article 3 Conclusion of the Agreement
- Marvel, the Databadge Company acts as the authorized agent of the Organizer for the purpose of concluding the Agreement between the Visitor and the Organizer. Marvel, the Databadge Company is not a party to the Agreement concluded through registration.
- The Agreement is concluded once the Visitor has completed the registration via Marvel, the Databadge Company. Marvel, the Databadge Company provides admission tickets on behalf of the Organizer. Tickets are sent to the Visitor by Marvel, the Databadge Company on behalf of the Organizer.
III. A registration is irrevocable for the Visitor. The Visitor cannot make changes to a concluded Agreement.
- If the Visitor fails to comply with its obligations under the Agreement, Marvel, the Databadge Company may, at its discretion and on behalf of the Organizer, dissolve the Agreement, claim damages, or demand performance.
Article 4 Tickets
- Tickets can be booked by the Visitor via the website of Marvel, the Databadge Company or via social media channels.
- Tickets provided by Marvel, the Databadge Company remain the property of the Organizer and are made available to the Visitor.
III. Without prior written consent from the Organizer and/or Marvel, the Databadge Company, it is not permitted to:
- sell tickets to third parties or otherwise make tickets commercially available, directly or indirectly;
- offer tickets in commercial communications or refer to them in any commercial manner.
- If the Visitor acts in violation of these GTC or the terms of the Organizer, Marvel, the Databadge Company and/or the Organizer may invalidate the tickets. In such cases, access to the event may be denied without any right to compensation.
- Marvel, the Databadge Company and/or the Organizer reserve the right to set a maximum number of tickets per booking. Bookings exceeding this maximum may be adjusted or cancelled without prior notice.
- Ticket prices may exceed the prices printed on the tickets due to additional costs such as reservation, payment, and/or delivery fees. Applicable VAT rates apply.
VII. Booking fees may vary depending on the method and timing of purchase. All costs are displayed during registration. No costs other than those shown will be charged.
Article 5 Fulfilment
- Marvel, the Databadge Company aims to send tickets digitally to the Visitor before the start of the event, and at least three (3) days prior to the event, provided that the ticket price has been paid in full. If tickets are not received on time, the Visitor must contact Marvel, the Databadge Company by email.
- Upon receipt, the Visitor must verify the accuracy of the tickets. In the event of incorrect tickets, replacement tickets will be provided upon first written request and at no additional cost, provided that the request includes the relevant details and reasons. If Marvel, the Databadge Company is not informed in writing within seven (7) days prior to the event, it may decide not to replace the tickets.
III. Marvel, the Databadge Company reserves the right at all times to refuse bookings or to impose additional conditions.
Article 6 Liability
- Marvel, the Databadge Company is not the organizer of the event and is not responsible for, nor does it provide any guarantee regarding, the quality or content of the event or the operations in or around the location or digital platform. On this basis, Marvel, the Databadge Company accepts no liability.
- If the event is cancelled by the Organizer or the venue operator, Marvel, the Databadge Company will never independently refund participation fees. If the Organizer instructs Marvel, the Databadge Company to issue a refund, Marvel acts solely as an intermediary on behalf of the Organizer.
III. Marvel, the Databadge Company shall never be liable for any damage suffered by the Visitor as a result of death, injury, accidents, harm, loss, damage, or theft occurring before, during, or as a result of attending the event or location.
- If Marvel, the Databadge Company is wholly or partially unable to fulfill its obligations due to force majeure, the Visitor shall not be entitled to any compensation.
- Marvel, the Databadge Company accepts no liability for loss or damage to tickets by the Visitor for any reason whatsoever. If replacement tickets are requested, Marvel, the Databadge Company is entitled to charge a fee.
- Any exclusion or limitation of liability of Marvel, the Databadge Company also applies to its employees and auxiliary persons.
Article 7 Cancellation Policy
- For the sale of admission tickets to congresses and events organized on behalf of third parties, the cancellation and refund policies of the respective Organizer apply. Buyers are not entitled to a refund unless explicitly stated in the applicable terms and conditions of the third party.
7.1 When can Marvel issue a refund?
Marvel will only issue a refund if instructed to do so by the Organizer. Marvel always acts in consultation with and in accordance with the instructions of the Organizer.
7.2 What amount will the buyer receive in case of a refund?
In the event of a refund, the buyer will receive the ticket price paid, less any service fees, booking fees and/or transaction costs paid at the time of purchase (and any fee agreed upon between Marvel and the Organizer).
7.3 How will Marvel issue the refund?
Any refund will always be made using the same payment method that was used for the original purchase.
